About Clare Bagnell
Clare (she/her) is the Kinesiologist and clinic assistant at Maritime Chiropractic and Wellness. She is originally from Kingston, Ontario and has now fallen in love with the east coast. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and continues to pursue her passion for health care.
Clare has 10 years’ experience working in the first aid field in both clinical and field settings with various populations. While attending St.FX she was a student therapist for the women’s field hockey team, and X-Country varsity teams as the on-site first responder, as well as working one-on-one with athletes providing first aid, pre and post-treatment. She was involved with the StFX aquatics facility as a lifeguard, swim instructor and helped run their adapted swim program for children with physical and intellectual disabilities. While living in Antigonish she volunteered with L’Arche Canada, X-Project and KeepWell to get involved with the community.
You will find Clare around the clinic assisting with administrative and clinic duties, as well as administering shockwave, laser therapy, and spinal scans. Outside of work Clare loves to get her body moving by playing competitive soccer, attending various workout classes at F45 and Just Cycle, or going for a walk to read in the Halifax Public Gardens. She is excited to continue to get to know the lovely Halifax community that has welcomed her with open arms.
