About Brianna Jarvin
Brianna Jarvin graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2017. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Brianna chose to stay in Nova Scotia and move to Halifax after graduation. While studying at Acadia, she took a particular interest in courses surrounding physiology and anatomy. She also enjoyed courses that looked at how physical activity can be made inclusive for all, despite physical or cognitive limitations. Brianna enjoyed many extra curricular activities while studying at Acadia, including volunteering with the Sensory Motor Instructional Leadership Experience (S.M.I.L.E.), Acadia Active Aging and KinderSkills programs. She was actively involved in student government by being elected as the President of the Acadia Yoga Society and the Vice President Academic of the Acadia Students’ Union. She kept active by regularly attending yoga and spin classes at the Acadia Athletic Complex, and competing as a base on the Acadia University Cheerleading Team. She continues to live a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym and training to run her first half marathon in the fall.
Brianna is excited to join the Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness team and learn as much as she can about spinal health, the muscoskeletal system and chiropractic care. She aspires to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and eventually begin practicing in Atlantic Canada.
