Dr. Monique Aucoin - Chiropractor/Owner

Dr. Monique Aucoin attended Dalhousie University where she studied Kinesiology and furthered her studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduating with a doctorate degree in Chiropractic. She grew up in Moncton, NB, lived in PEI and now makes her home Halifax, NS. Over the years she has been widely involved in the health industry as a Certified Personal Trainer, aerobics and Yoga instructor.

In addition to completing her chiropractic degree, Dr. Aucoin has a passion in acupuncture and received a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Aucoin wrote her graduate thesis on the effectiveness of orthotics and continues active research in the orthotics industry.

Dr. Aucoin is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Certified Specialist of Exercise Physiology Association and Can-fit pro. From Dr. Aucoin's Acadian background, she is fluently bilingual. Dr. Aucoin is a big believer in a well balanced life, including good nutrition, exercise, relaxation and regular Chiropractic care. During her spare time, she trains for marathons.

Jessica Bergevin - Physiotherapist

Jessica attended Dalhousie University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with distinction. She then pursued her Masters in Physiotherapy at Queens University in her hometown of Kingston, Ontario. She is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is registered with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. She has taken post-grad courses on prevention/management of running injuries and Kinesiotaping. Her treatment style is a blend of hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise. She believes that an individually tailored exercise program, specific to the needs of the client is essential in maximizing the benefits of therapy.

Jessica has a strong passion and background in group and personal fitness, particularly in the area of Pilates. Excited to be back on the East Coast, she is enthusiastic to become reintegrated into the health and wellness community of Halifax. Look for her on the trails of Point Pleasant, the tennis courts at The Commons, 108 Yoga Studio, or at The Seaport Farmer’s Market as these are some of her favorite places in Metro.

Dr. Charles Dauphinee - Chiropractor

Dr. Dauphinee is a native of Dartmouth, NS and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2009. Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Dauphinee attended Dalhousie University, obtaining a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering focusing electives on Biomechanical/ Biomedical Engineering. His senior year design project won first place at the Atlantic Engineering competition.

Dr. Dauphinee is currently continuing his education in chiropractic in the Sports Sciences Residency Program through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) (www.rccssc.ca).

In 2011 Dr. Dauphinee was the first chiropractor to be part of the Saint Mary’s University Football athletic therapy team. His involvement with the team continues during their off season training with chiropractic treatment, athletic taping, testing for muscle imbalances, and providing on field assessment.

Dr. Dauphinee is involved with the Canada Summer Games 2013 womens’ softball development team where he has helped implement agility, flexibility and power testing of the athletes. He has also instructed the athletes on core and full body conditioning. Dr. Dauphinee volunteered with the Halifax Canada Winter Games 2011 not only as a chiropractor but also was involved in planning the Medical Services. Dr. Dauphinee has not only been involved in helping out at several local sporting events, he has also volunteered to treat athletes at the 2010 World Junior Track and Field Championships (Moncton, New Brunswick), the 2010 Tim Hortons Brier (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and the World Senior Laser (sailing) Championships 2009 (St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia).

Dr. Dauphinee is a member of the Council of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Nova Scotia), the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors (NSCC), the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) (RCCSS(C)), and the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia (APENS).

Debbie Ledaire - Office Administrator

Debbie Ledaire grew up in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia and currently resides in Mineville with her husband and two children. Debbie graduated with honours from the Business Application program at the Nova Scotia Community College. Since joining our team in September 2010 Debbie has created a very positive and welcoming environment. Believing in Chiropractic care came easy when Debbie's neck pain and sinusitis problems were relieved by a treatment program; discomfort she once accepted as a part of her life.

In her spare time, Debbie enjoys outdoor activities, global dance, and Zumba.
